Being the 4th year Ringley has been singled out as a winner this award is truly a testament to our people who are consistently delivering above and beyond through truly customer centric thinking. RED stands for Repeatable Errors Detected and in true Ringley style our people not only bring forward things that could be better for customers but take responsibility for seeing resolution or improvement through for a small reward. In May 2015 we were delighted to be singled out at the RESI 15 awards and honored to collect the award for Property Manager of the Year. We were singled out for our ability to innovate and align to meet customer's needs and will continue to do so wherever we can. Managing Director Mary-anne Bowring said "truly this is one for the team as this award recognises pure commitment to delivering results for Clients as well as a dedication to excellence for its own sake"
The Times: Winner Bronze - Block Management Company Of The Year 2014
We were delighted to collect this, our 3rd award from The Times/Sunday Times. To keep winning depends on continued innovation of our service offering to Clients, year on year. Our agility to respond to emerging markets such as PRS (the private rented sector) where we have blended the disciplines of facilities management, service charge and rentals management to meet the needs of institutional landlords has stood us in good stead.
Camden & Islington's Local Employer of the Year 2012
We were delighted to be named Camden and Islington's Local Employer of the Year 2012. We feel we've done an enormous amount of work to engage with local schools, provide work placements and 10 apprenticeships many of which have already led to growth and real jobs.
"We've made our mark locally and I've heard people giving directions by referring to the 'Ringley building', says Mary-anne Bowring MD. In the summer people walked in to congratulate us on hanging 18 union jack flags as well as recently to comment on our new plants.
I think it is fair to say not only have we brightened up what was a derelict site with vandalised BT phone box outside after Dunns, the gentleman's outfitter, went bust in 1981. We've breathed a little life and community into what was once known by the closed down tube station (now cash converters) as Kentish Town South. We're still growing and looking to buy new premises locally to grow into. Any ideas?
Benchmarked Investors in People: Silver Standard
The IIP Assessor wrote: "Underpinning the vision and mission, are a set of values which inform the way people are expected to behave: respect; teamwork; pride; trust: integrity. Most compelling is the way these values are reinforced at every opportunity.
Well publicised within the organisation, the values inform the: agenda for the annual company day; the conversation during performance reviews; the learning and development programme; the review of performance against key performance indicators; agenda items for the weekly meetings.
It was evident from the interviews that people know what they need to do to be recognised and valued. Also evident are some particularly innovative strategies designed to improve the effectiveness of the organisation, and have everyone identify with the aim of being recognised as the provider of a 5 star level of customer service. These include: tracking performance against KPI’s; a money back guarantee; recognition awards; letters to customers written in plain English; giving customers access to the organisation’s database.
Evidence of people believing they are trusted to make decisions are those who said: “time is of the essence, I have to make a quick decision as to whether the person is deserving of a legal charge for having to chase payment”; “I have the authority to give money back”. “I have the authority to quote fees”.
Of the organisation’s strategy with regard to corporate social responsibility, the Managing Director said: “this is what responsible employers do”.
Of work life balance people said that Ringley is a family friendly organisation which accommodates people’s need for flexible working.
Most people felt they are given the opportunity to make the most of their talent. This is especially true of the various “champions”, who have been given the opportunity to demonstrate their potential by taking the lead on whole organisation topics such as: corporate social responsibility; induction; records; front of house; facilities and events.

Often you hear people say there's a lot in a number. Its about creating a culture and environment where people feel they can make a difference, Where people can directly relate their jobs to organisational success and more importantly, their own personal development.
Achieving this is a journey that includes planning fun, regular communication, keeping benefits up to date whilst sending clear signals as to what outcomes are important and because we're serious about these outcomes putting money behind them. Our vision and mission are simple. We recruit for values, believe skills can be taught, ask everyone to align and appraise for behaviours.
