How did we do it?
The former accountant had expensed a utility company security deposit and therefore it had got lost at account transfer. We uncovered this and retrieved £4K for the Client, 4 years after this had got missed. A nice windfall.

Morello
How did we do it?
£37,787.20 savings made up of £9,435.31 and £25,531.89 from the developer for construction water and electricity use respectively. £1,500 towards the gates motor failures and £1,320 towards window cleaning not done before leaving site.

How did we do it?
In excess of £129,000 recovered in Autumn 2016 almost 50% of the long term debt inherited on this site including 2 seriously old debts at over £35K and £45K respectively.

How did we do it?
We negotiated away a late filling penalty we inherited on handover from HMRC. The penalty was £1200. After number of letters & phone calls we managed to get the fine removed.

How did we do it?
We used cherry pickers (instead of having scaffolding) to gain access to the vast majority of 6 blocks, with the tallest block being 7 storeys above ground level. By using cherry pickers, we reduced the cost of access by £150,000 + fees + VAT = £200,000.

How did we do it?
The developer's budget failed to match all allowable service charge items in the Housing Association transfer. We went back and collected 6 years extra expenses - some £30,000.

How did we do it?
We inherited this 4 flat block with 1 flat owing over 42K service charges which several previous Agents had failed to collect. Ringley Law settled the case delivering over 35K.

We provided a range of valuation advice from the cheeky to the realistic to help this block buy their freehold and our sister company Ringley Law duly served notice. Ultimately through somewhat protracted negotiations and modelling of values per sq ft, indexing new build values yielded and challenging other variables we achieved a £170,250 saving on the Freeholders' position.

How did we do it?
Ringley Law was successful in recovering service charge arrears from a leaseholder who had maintained for over 10 years that their property was in disrepair. Ringley Law defended the counterclaim in excess of £100,000 brought by the leaseholder and by working with an expert witness and instructed Counsel, was victorious at trial. The judge’s award included over £10,000 of interest and nearly all of the Claimant’s costs
