Camden Property Guru becomes a governor for IRPM

Another Step Forward

Mary-Anne Bowring, Managing Director and Founder Director of Ringley, a property consultancy based in Camden, has been appointed as a governor for the Institute of Residential Property Management (IRPM). Bowring joins the IRPM, launched by the Association of Residential Managing Agents (ARMA), in their quest to create a high standard of professionalism within Residential Property Management.

The IRPM aims to attract new entrants to the sector and to provide individuals with independent accreditation for their professional skills. Over the last ten years I have built my business up to become one of London's leading managing agents as we currently manage over 5,000 leasehold properties. I firmly believe that continued professional development of Residential Property Management is necessary to raise the standard of the industry.

Being appointed as a governor for IRPM is a fantastic opportunity to help promote good practice and ensure a new generation of skilled qualified individuals within the sector. Due to a market wide lack of qualified surveyors, Bowring has independently set up the Ringley Chartered Surveyors Graduate Training programme, which has now been fully approved by the RICS. Bowring is also on the committee for ARMA.

Quote From: The IRPM

'Mary-Anne has been involved in the property industry since 1993 and has extensive detailed knowledge of building law and Landlord and Tenant Acts, having presented many cases for clients at Leasehold Valuation Tribunals.'
