How an Eco Homes Assessment is calculated: Category 5 - Waste
The space provided for waste storage is sized to hold domestic bins or a single dwelling wheelie bin together with recycled waste containers. The space provided is safe and off-street. The site meets the requirements of adequate internal and suitable external waste provision.
Alternatively should the Council prefer, negotiations with the adjoining Freeholder of the block known as Palmer House 76-84 Fortess Road has confirmed that remodeling and incorporation of refuse facilities for this property could be provided in the rear garden refuse store area of Palmer House.
The development built costs are estimated to be less than £200,000 so a Site Waste Management Plan will not apply to this site, suffice it to say that construction waste will need to be disposed of via a licenced waste carrier.
