Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors

As a Chartered Surveying practice we are closely regulated by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and must abide by their very exacting code of Practice and Rules and Regulations.

We pay to be members of the RICS Client Money Protection Scheme, which protects client funds that we hold.

We also pay to have our Client Accounts Audited by the RICS to demonstrate our absolute adherence to the high financial standards that they impose on member companies.


Association of Residential Managing Agents


As corporate members of the Association of Residential Managing Agents (ARMA) we are also governed by ARMA’s bye-laws.

Our Estates Division MD, Stephen Gayer sits on the Council of ARMA and its Technical committee, reflecting our commitment to the profession and to the promotion of excellence.

The Law Society


Our other in-house professional teams have additional professional affiliations; - Our in house Legal Services Team are of course ultimately answerable to The Law Society.

The Association of Building Engineers


The Association of Building Engineers is the professional body that governs the operation of our Building Engineering team that handles major works projects at our managed sites.

Financial Services Agency

 

We are registered with the Financial Services Agency (FSA) in relation to our insurance scheme.

ISO9001 Quality Assurance standards


For our internal systems and procedures we have accreditation to ISO9001 Quality Assurance standards.  Our complaints procedure has been drawn up to comply with both ARMA’s and the RICS’s requirements.

We are not simply regulated by the professional bodies to which we belong but actively promote the professions and education both internally and to the outside world. We are represented on the Council of ARMA and its Technical Committee and sit on the Board of Governors of the Institute of Residential Property Management (IRPM), the educational body set up by ARMA.

All of our property management team members and several members of our support teams are actively pursuing IRPM qualifications to further their education and careers.  This in turn enhances the professionalism of the team as a whole and is reflected in the quality of service our customers receive. To promote continuous professional and educational development we undertake weekly staff training covering technical issues, customer service and the interpersonal skills that are so important in effective management of people and property.

 

Our Developer Team

My 30+ years of practical property and senior managerial experience has involved me in all types of properties from large London Estates to Art Deco Mansion blocks both within prime central London and beyond. Over the years I have probably encountered most block management issues before, both personally and through my team I have strategically managed solutions. Over the last 15 years, I have worked with many developers on a variety of residential and mixed use schemes. My focus has been on creating sound management structures which are both sustainable and affordable.
