Building Engineering Team
Ringley’s team of Surveyors and
Engineers deliver a Client facing
service whether it is a detailed surface
examination of a whole building or the
resolution of a party wall dispute.
Other work includes contract
administration/project management and we
are in an enviable position as we
support Ringley’s Estates Division with
cyclical redecoration, re-roofing and
refurbishment schemes.
Ringley’s Building Engineering Team
recruits from quality candidates from
Engineering, Surveying and Architectural
Technician backgrounds. Preferred
candidates should be 1 year post
qualified but we do seek out bright
graduates who have developed
professional practice skills as it takes
confidence and skill to manage
contractors or justify a diagnosis on
structural or defects issues. While
learning how the industry operates,
trainees build up the necessary
practical experience required by the
RICS or ABE for final qualification as a
Chartered Surveyor or as a Building
Engineer.
For graduates a relevant upper second
level degree is preferred but practical
test and proven grasp of building
technology/relevant work/client
experience may enable some flexibility
to this. Otherwise, years post
qualification experience in defects
diagnosis or contract administration is
our pre-requisite.
