Block Management Reviews
"Our property manager, Natalie Birmingham has made our experience with Ringley extremely positive, having moved some of the management of our commercial property over to Ringley.
Natalie's professionalism, promptness, and dedication to exceeding expectations has left a lasting impression. She responds promptly to any queries or comments that we have and what sets Natalie apart is her commitment to going above and beyond. "

"Ringley have been supporting a number of leaseholders as managing agent - including myself - through a large insurance claim. It’s not an easy job managing 40+ different competing interests and I commend them for handling such a tricky situation. Dominic and Kate have been been responsive, informative and have advocated my needs and interests to all third party stakeholders. The claim will take a significant amount of time to resolve but had it not of been for Ringley I do not think we would have made any progress at all. I strongly recommend them."

"We have had a problem with noise from the flat above us in Lady Isle House Ferry Court Cardiff. We contacted a Mr Paul Staniforth who immediately became involved and addressed the situation. We really do appreciate what he has done for us and cannot thank him enough. Once again a big thank you to Mr Staniforth. The noise above was intolerable."

We work to enhance the value of our Client’s asset and demonstrate good governance. To us this means engaging with leaseholders, residents and other stakeholders to ensure they are engaged with the management of each development.

|
Our aim is to make Management Company Directors feel empowered: to us this means 100% transparency and advising them of the options available to support decision making. We know volunteer directors have a day job, so work to delivery what they need in a timely manner and guide them on the decisions we need.

The area of Finchley Road is to the north of London, in the borough of Camden. It is 6 miles from the centre of London. The original name Finchley New Road, was built as a turnpike road from the late 1820s to early 1830s. This proved to be a convenient by-pass to the existing route, north from London, through Hampstead. At this time, the road was bordered with fields.
In 1826, the Finchley Road Act was passed, and in 1835, the new turnpike road was completed. In the early Victorian era, many grand houses were built along the length of Finchley Road, especially near Fortune Green, Childs Hill and Golders Green.
Around 1850, the Atlas Line, a stagecoach business, operated along Finchley Road. In 1856, there were around ten stagecoaches a day, that ran along Finchley Road and the Swiss Cottage area.
In 1860, Finchley Road St. Johns Wood was opened on the Hampstead Junction Railway, for the connection to the North London Railway. Today, this is the Finchley Road and Frognal station, on the Overground Line. Nearby, in 1879, Finchley Road station was opened on the Metropolitan Railway. Today, Finchley Road Underground station is on the Metropolitan and Jubilee Lines. In 1888, West End Lane station opened on the Hampstead Junction Railway. Today, this is West Hampstead, on the Overground Line. These new railway stations initiated urban development. For example, in 1890, the area appeared similar to the way it does now.
By 1880, omnibuses arrived at the area north of Swiss Cottage, as far as Finchley Road station. The omnibuses later extended along Finchley Road, to meet others from Edgware Road along West End Lane, and continued north to Childs Hill and Hendon. By 1911, in the early years of King George V, (r. 1910-1936), motorbuses replaced omnibuses.
Today, Finchley Road is a desirable place to live, and popular with affluent people. There are many new building projects under way.

1newhomes have on offer 02 Centre, 255 Finchley Road, London, NW3. Following four phases of consultation with local residents, businesses and community groups, a planning application has recently been submitted to London Borough of Camden, for the 02 Masterplan Site.
The proposals will see the site transformed into a new green comprehensive landscape focussed masterplan, which goes beyond the existing 02 Shopping Centre on Finchley Road. The masterplan will connect Finchley Road and West End Lane.
The new scheme will deliver around 1,800 new homes, including 35% affordable homes; a long tree line park connecting West Hampstead and Finchley Road; over 50% of the 14 acre car free site for public and green spaces: this will be open and accessible to all.
There will be up 180,000 sq.ft. of commercial, workspace and community uses across the masterplan, including a new town square with residents, leisure spaces and shops. There will be space for popular local amenities including a supermarket, gym and cinema; a new community centre and health centre; a large new green and a new community garden.

I had a look around Camden Art Centre (near Finchley Road), and enjoyed Mohammed Sami's solo exhibition. The works focus on interiors, and uncanny depictions of everyday objects such as clothing, mattresses, chairs and tables.
Camden Art Centre, Arkwright Road, London, NW3, is a contemporary art gallery. It has been beautifully refurbished, however it is a Grade II listed Victorian building and former library. There are courses and workshops, including ceramics; drawing, from observation, imagination and memory; and family workshops. The gallery has a café and secluded garden. Spaces are for hire, for wedding receptions, family celebrations, commemorations, corporate events and away days. As a registered charity, hiring of space is a crucial source of income, that is generated to directly support artistic programmes and education projects.
